John is affectionately known as “Personal Training Royalty” in Toronto due to his deep expertise and decades in the business. He has keen eye to spot movement dysfunction, and knows what movement to prescribe to reduce pain and increase function. He’s worked with elite athletes and regular people.
Book with me if you want to heal faster and improve performance
“I was constantly injuring myself through weight lifting. After merely two sessions with John, I’m healed, I haven’t injured myself since then, and have increased my strength across the board! ”
Ever feel like you are doing the same exercises over and over, without the expected results?
I work with people of all ages and abilities who share one thing in common – they can’t get past some invisible line that is holding them back. I find that barrier and remove it. Sometimes it’s bad form. Sometimes it’s the wrong exercises. Some people need to stretch more. Some need to stretch less.
I figure all that out for you so you can go to the gym, be efficient, and get better, not worse.
I’ve been a Kinesiologist, Sports Therapist, and Personal Trainer for over 25 years. I help professional athletes, weekend warriors, and octogenarians. I also treat medical and allied health professionals in Toronto, including Kyle!
Over the years I’ve competed in triathlons and motorcycle racing and I’ve rescued dogs a few dogs along the way. During my masters degree I co-authored a chapter of Stuart McGill’s Functional Training Handbook. I’ve continued to train with international leaders in physical and movement assessment and therapy.
If you’ve been struggling to find the answers to your lack of progress, please book a discovery call with me, to tell me your story.
I can come to your home, or we can figure out somewhere to train, including some of my affiliations. Serving downtown Toronto and the neighbourhoods of the Annex, Beaches, East York, Forest Hill, North Toronto, North York, Rosedale, Summerhill, and Yorkville.
