How do we get started?

I have a comprehensive assessment process that lets us get to know each other before we begin.

Step 1. Contact me. Email, call, or text 416.459.9956. Tell me your story. Ask questions.

Or go straight to Step 2. Book a Strategy Session. You will complete assessment forms, and book directly into my schedule. You can book this here www.kylebyronnutrition.com/book

Step 3. We conduct the Strategy Session, in person or over the phone, to discuss your goals. You can ask me about my programs and experience, etc.

Step 4. I propose a plan, in writing. If you don’t like it, we change it until it works for you.

Step 5. If we agree to terms, we can start immediately! If we decide not to work together, I provide you with a complimentary workout program and some free nutrition advice.

  • Honours BSc in Human Nutrition
  • Graduate courses in nutrition sciences (weight loss, pediatrics, sports performance, clinical nutrition and more)
  • Precision Nutrition Level 2 Nutrition Coach (This is a year-long coaching program with a PhD mentor, daily lessons, and 20 cases studies)
  • Personal Trainer (retired – no longer certified but I still provide exercise advice and programs)
  • Honours BA in Communication

What is a food journal?

A food journal is essential for changing how we eat. I require clients to journal at least a few days a month. Daily journaling is not required.

A food journal is where you write down everything you eat and drink. It’s also really helpful if you also write notes about your exercise, how you feel, why you chose that food, and your appetite.

I have clients document as they go because human beings cannot accurately recall what they ate. Why is that? Because eating is routine and doesn’t get stored accurately in our long term memory.

Can I get a meal plan?

Not in the sense that I put you on a diet (because that won’t work). Instead I’ll teach you how to eat for your goals, based on where you are now. The concepts I teach you will last for the rest of your life.

What do we do in a nutrition session?
  • I reassess you.
  • I listen.
  • We measure body composition.
  • I recommend the things you need to do to get immediate results.
  • I teach you new concepts, hacks, and skills
  • I help you break bad habits.

Types of Sessions:


  • Private room
  • Usually I measure body composition in some way
  • I assess your progress
  • I teach you new nutrition and fitness concepts

Phone or Video sessions:

Same as a clinic/office sessions except I can’t measure your body composition.

Email sessions

  • We agree on a date where you are going to email me to check in
  • You submit your report which usually includes a food journal
  • I treat your email as urgent
  • The rest is the same. I teach you concepts and help you succeed
How much does it cost to work with you?

Costs vary because I hand-craft programs for each client.

Costs can be as low as $100 to $200 per month. Cost is determined by frequency of contact with me. If a client desires a lot of contact and support, costs are higher. More support however is not always necessary.

I can be more specific once I’ve assessed you and we’ve gotten to know each other.

Most of my clients are pleasantly surprised by the reasonable cost, especially compared to big box gyms who will always recommend thousands of dollars in training, (which, by the way, won’t help you long term or maybe not even short term).
